- Do you do my taxes?
- No, and that's by design. We handle your bookkeeping: reconciliation, categorization, monthly reports, and a clean year-end package. When tax season comes, you (or your CPA) get organized, accurate financials ready to file from. No digging, no shoebox of receipts. If you don't have a CPA or tax preparer, we're happy to point you toward one.
- My books are months (or years) behind. Can you still help?
- Yes. This is one of the most common situations we see. Catch-up work is handled as a one-time cleanup project, quoted upfront before your monthly plan starts. Once you're caught up, your flat monthly rate takes over and you never fall behind again.
- How do you access my accounts? Is it secure?
- We connect through read-only bank feeds in QuickBooks Online. We can see transactions, but we can never move money, and we never ask for your banking passwords. Documents are shared through secure, encrypted channels, not email attachments.
- Is there a contract? Can I cancel?
- Month to month. No long-term contract, no cancellation fee. If we're not earning the fee every month, you shouldn't be paying it.
- What if I go over my plan's transaction limit?
- Nothing happens automatically. If your volume consistently runs above your tier, we'll flag it and talk before anything changes. You'll never see a surprise charge on your invoice.
- I already have a bookkeeper / I do it myself in QuickBooks. Why switch?
- If it's working, keep it. Most owners come to us because their books only get touched at tax time, categories have drifted, or they can't trust their P&L enough to make decisions with it. - What software do you work with?
- QuickBooks Online. If you're on spreadsheets, desktop software, or another platform, we'll get you migrated as part of onboarding or cleanup.
